My big brother turned 30th last month… I still can’t believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were sleeping in bunk beds & playing Ninja Turtles… Oh wait, that was yesterday ~ bahaha kiiiidding! ;)

Of course, I had to do something super awesome for my big bro’s party! My sister-in-law & I decided on a rustic, outdoors theme. I designed a “Here’s to 30″ logo, incorporating a wood-grain pattern & red picnic pattern, to use throughout the party decor. We did a dessert table & also did a s’more buffet station.

The amazingly, fabulous tree stump “cupcake stands” that we used, were cut fresh for the party ;) lol. My husband’s brother lives in a woodsy area, so a few days before the party my hubby went to his house, borrowed a neighbor’s chainsaw & cut the logs himself. He’s kind of amazing like that :) The tree-stump-stands defiantly *made* the table. He wins the Husband of Year Award… just saaayin ;)

This was only my third attempt at dessert tables & party styling, but I think I did pretty good ;) Check it out…

Custom Potted Whirly Pops:

The potted Whirly Pops were my favorite part. How cute are they? This fabulous idea for potted Whirly Pops was inspired by the Frog Prince Paperie’s frog prince party.

Party Favors:

For party favors, we used Hershey Kisses & Reese Cups in glassine bags.

The S’more Buffet Station:

I didn’t get a chance to try them, but rumor was that peanut butter cup s’more are incredible! :)

The party was fabulous & I couldn’t have pulled it off without the help of my mom & husband ~ who stayed up late with me the night before to help with some last minute details. Thanks, guys! Looove you, both!

And can I just say that planning an adult party for a guy, without making it super cutesy or girly, is quite the dang challenge lol. Hope I did ok ;)
